Terms & Conditions
Welcome to TechCare World. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, service booking facilities, repair and maintenance services, installation services, technical support, products, spare parts and other solutions offered by TechCare World. By accessing our website, creating a service request, accepting a quotation or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. Service Booking & Confirmation
Customers may request services through our website, telephone, messaging channels or other approved communication methods. A booking request does not necessarily constitute final acceptance of a job. Service availability may depend on location, technician availability, required equipment, spare parts and the nature of the requested work.
Customers are responsible for providing accurate contact details, service location, device or equipment information and a clear description of the reported problem. TechCare World may contact the customer to verify the request or obtain additional information before assigning or performing a service.
2. Inspection & Diagnosis
Some repair, maintenance or technical problems require inspection and diagnosis before the final cost can be determined. An inspection, diagnosis or visiting fee may apply where stated during booking, in the service details or in the quotation.
The initial diagnosis is based on the condition of the device, equipment or system at the time of inspection. Additional faults discovered during repair may require further work, parts or charges. We will seek customer approval where a material change to the agreed work or cost is required.
3. Service Charges & Quotations
Service prices may vary according to the type of work, complexity, location, required technician time, spare parts, materials and other applicable requirements. Where applicable, TechCare World may provide an estimated or formal quotation before work begins.
A quotation remains valid only for the period stated in that quotation. If no validity period is specified, TechCare World may revise the quotation if parts prices, availability, transportation costs, scope of work or other relevant circumstances change before customer approval.
Any work outside the original agreed scope may be treated as additional work and may require a revised quotation or additional customer approval.
4. Spare Parts, Materials & Products
Replacement parts, accessories and materials may be charged separately unless they are expressly included in the quoted service price. Availability may vary according to brand, model and market supply.
Where practical, customers will be informed before chargeable replacement parts are installed. Parts supplied by the customer are used at the customer's responsibility, and TechCare World may limit or exclude warranty coverage relating to faults caused by customer-supplied parts.
5. Payment
Customers must pay the applicable service, inspection, product, parts, delivery or other agreed charges using the payment methods made available by TechCare World. The applicable payment amount and payment stage may be specified during booking, quotation, order confirmation or service completion.
Customers should retain invoices, receipts, service records or other proof of payment where provided. TechCare World reserves the right to withhold delivery or completion of an order where an outstanding amount remains payable, subject to applicable law.
6. Service Warranty
Where a service warranty is provided, its duration and coverage will be stated in the relevant service details, invoice, job sheet, warranty document or quotation. A service warranty generally applies only to the specific work performed by TechCare World and does not automatically cover unrelated or newly developed faults.
A warranty may not apply to damage resulting from misuse, accident, liquid or physical damage, electrical surge, unauthorized repair or modification, external causes, normal wear and tear, failure to follow operating instructions or customer-supplied defective parts.
7. Product & Parts Warranty
Products or replacement parts may carry a manufacturer, supplier or TechCare World warranty depending on the item. Warranty duration and conditions may therefore vary. Where a manufacturer or supplier warranty applies, claims may be subject to that provider's warranty terms and inspection requirements.
Physical damage, misuse, unauthorized modification, incorrect operation and other exclusions specified by the applicable warranty provider may not be covered.
8. Cancellation
A customer may request cancellation before service begins. However, inspection, diagnosis, transportation, technician visit, special-order parts or other costs already incurred may remain payable where applicable.
Once repair, installation or other approved work has started, cancellation may be subject to payment for completed work, used materials, ordered parts and other reasonable costs already incurred.
9. Refund & Return Policy
Eligibility for a refund or return depends on the type of service, product or part involved and the circumstances of the request. Completed services are generally not returnable as physical goods. Where there is a valid concern regarding workmanship, TechCare World may first inspect the issue and, where covered, provide corrective service in accordance with the applicable service warranty.
Products or parts may be eligible for return, replacement or warranty support only where permitted by the applicable return or warranty conditions and applicable law. Any approved refund will normally be processed through an appropriate available method after verification.
10. Delivery, Collection & Transportation
Where TechCare World provides pickup, delivery or transportation of equipment, estimated delivery times are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed. Delays may occur because of parts availability, technical requirements, transportation conditions or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Customers should inspect returned products or equipment and report any apparent issue within a reasonable period after receiving them.
11. Customer Responsibilities
Customers must provide safe and reasonable access to the service location and disclose relevant information about the device, equipment, electrical system or site. Customers should back up important data before submitting computers, phones, storage devices or other data-containing equipment for repair whenever possible.
Customers are responsible for removing or protecting confidential information and providing required passwords or access credentials only when reasonably necessary for diagnosis or service. Such credentials should be changed after service where appropriate.
12. Data & Software During Repair
Although reasonable care is taken during technical service, repair of damaged hardware, storage devices, operating systems or software may involve a risk of data loss. Unless a separate backup or data recovery service has been expressly agreed, customers are responsible for maintaining appropriate backups before service.
13. On-Site Services
For on-site services, the customer must provide a safe working environment, reasonable access to the equipment and any necessary authorization to perform the requested work. Additional charges may apply where the work requested at the site differs materially from the original booking or requires additional parts, labour or visits.
14. Limitation of Liability
TechCare World will take reasonable care when providing its services. To the extent permitted by applicable law, TechCare World will not be responsible for indirect or consequential losses arising from circumstances outside the agreed scope of service or beyond our reasonable control.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or restrict any right or liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under applicable law.
15. Third-Party Products & Services
Some services may involve third-party manufacturers, suppliers, software, platforms, payment providers or other service providers. Their separate terms, warranties or privacy practices may apply where relevant.
16. Force Majeure
TechCare World will not be responsible for delays or inability to perform caused by events reasonably beyond our control, including natural disasters, severe weather, fire, power or network failure, transportation disruption, supply shortages, government restrictions or similar events.
17. Complaints & Support
If you have a concern about a service, payment, warranty or order, please contact TechCare World with your relevant order, invoice or service information. We will review the matter and seek an appropriate resolution in accordance with the applicable service conditions and law.
